Intake
A few warm questions, not a job form. Where you are. What you’d try if failure wasn’t the boss of you.
The name is the joke. What happens inside is anything but.
For when you’re between versions of yourself: laid off, burnt out, retired and restless, employed but numb, or nowhere on the map. Not LinkedIn. Not therapy. A place to say what you’d actually build if nobody was grading you.
Less performance. More of the real thing. Not a career flex zone. More like the Sunday-night feeling that whatever you’re doing isn’t quite it, and you’re allowed to admit that.
Human-sized intake. First round with 8–10 people: text only, Person 1 style labels, cameras off. If it works, you form a smaller crew around one goal, then video like anyone else. Mods check in when a group goes quiet.

Text chat, codenames, 60–90 minutes, prompts in the thread. That’s only this step. Cameras stay off until you’re in a crew.
Roughly 4–6 people, one goal you pick together, then regular video calls plus the boring useful stuff (chat, notes, files).
Light weekly check-ins, work blocks on a rhythm, small milestones a mod can help hold.
First round is text and labels on purpose. You get to say the thing without performing your résumé at the same time.
No streaks, no leaderboard energy. A small group, one shared build, enough structure that the chat doesn’t become a graveyard.
If your crew goes quiet, a human pings you. That’s the whole philosophy in one sentence.
Apply isn’t open yet. We’re still sorting the boring payment bit. If you’re skint, there’ll still be a no-questions waiver. That part’s not negotiable.
Coming soon. We’ll post here when the door opens. No growth-hack countdowns.
